The trail to Kvannlia starts just 150 metres from the country store store at Visthus. Turn left and follow the well-marked trail along Aunskardet. Please note that the trail has a rather rough section of boulders after 1.5 km, as well as a precipitous stretch along the mountain ledge (which is equipped with a rope), before the trail descends to Nedre Kvannlivatnet. The trail takes a northeasterly direction toward our destination: Kvannlivatnet lake (248 m). From this lake there are trails into Lomsdal-Visten National Park.
