How to get here
By car
There are three alternative routes by car:
1. Follow the E6 to Grong. 8 km north of Grong, you turn towards Høylandet. Follow the RV 17 from Høylandet to Holm. From there, take the ferry to Vennesund (20 min.). From Vennesund, continue along the RV 17 until you reach Horn. Go by ferry from Horn to Andalsvågen (20 min.). Follow the RV17 from Andalsvågen to Forvik. Take the ferry from Forvik to Stokkasjøen (30 min.). Continue from Stokkasjøen to Visthus, approximately 5 kilometers.
2. Follow the E6 to Brenna (50 km north of Namskogan). Take the RV76 (Tosen- tunnel) and continue until you reach the RV17. Continue along the RV17 to Horn. Ferry Horn - Andalsvågen (20 min.). RV17 from Andalsvågen to Forvik. Ferry from Forvik to Stokkasjøen (30 min.). Continue from Stokkasjøen to Visthus, approximately 5 kilometers.
3. Follow the E6 to Mosjøen. Go by the RV78 until you reach the RV17. Follow the RV17 (over the Helgeland bridge) to Tjøtta. Ferry from Tjøtta to Stokkasjøen (30 min.). Continue from Stokkasjøen to Visthus, approximately 5 kilometers.
By plane
Fly to Sandnessjøen or Brønnøysund. Please contact us for information about bus transport. It is also possible to be picked up at the airport, but only by prior arrangement. In most cases, it is most convenient to land in Sandnessjøen.
By train
Train to Mosjøen. Bus via Sandnessjøen to Tjøtta. Please contact us for information about bus transport. Ferry from Tjøtta to Stokkasjøen, where we pick you up. |
